In this garden of life friends are the flowers. They brighten up your day with their laughter and warmth and fill your heart with their love. It has been a very eventful journey, sometimes bumpy, sometimes smooth. Lots of friends to love and support and others who abused. I learned a lot from IFF. I learned I am not alone in this world; I am not the only one with problems. I learned together we could overcome any hindrances in life. I have also been blessed with many good friends because of IFF, who are there all over the world. Friends, who were by my side in the blink of an eye when I needed them. Friends, who stayed awake with me because I couldn’t sleep, who dried my tears when I would weep. Friends, who called me up when they heard a plane crashed into a building in Manhattan a few weeks back, although I was miles away from it. Friends, whom I can trust with my life. I had taken a small sabbatical from IFF, because of certain reasons. However I came back as these same friends asked me to. Now I feel its time to move on. I will miss everything about it. I will miss the lobby chats, the good blogs and the blog wars. I will miss all the lovely divas of IFF and my favorite flirts. I will even miss the lobby fights. I enjoyed my stay in IFF thoroughly. My very close friends who are on my messenger I am never far from you. To the others I bid adieu. Good Bye and Good Luck everyone. Love you all always  Romita |

Dear Romita, You might think it odd for me to comment. I am not doing this do solicit a response. We have a bit of a history you and I. I want you to know that first and foremost you have always been the best writer across the fence from me. I want you to know that I respect you as an opponent, more than you imagine. I made several errors with you, and for these I am regretful.Things could have and should have been different but they were not. But never think I have overlooked nor missed the significance of your contributions. It is very difficult to be in the middle of a struggle with two great determined friends. I want to encourage you to continue Blogging at Sulkeha, it is not a site that attracts much gossip. It is difficult to promote the fighting and backbiting that goes on here on that site. It takes a while to get known, but the writing cream rises to the top. There are no popularity lists there. You are a talented writer and I think you not only enjoy writing sometimes you need to write it is therapy ( in a sense ) for you. I want to wish you happiness and joy in your new rebirth. I know it is difficult yet I also am confident you will meet the challenge and beat it and come out a winner. I am hopeful that you will allow my sincere post to appear yet if you don't that too is OK, it is meant for you and no one else. Hopefully I will see you at Sulkeha and we can have a fresh start. Romi i think u made a good decision, i am also thinking of leaving IFF soon. i dont regret joining IFF but it has changed a lot now, its more of battle field now and who need virtual enemies, we already have good friends on messenger. but ya can't keep away from me ya on my messeger so will keep bugging ya

Romita , I believe we have not talked much but what we have has always been sense, not flirtatious (nothing wrong with flirtatious though as long as it is just that and not meant to hurt anyone) - I enjoyed my talking twice with you and thereafter occasional chat in the lobby. What impressed me the most is that you contributed positively on some greatly needed issues viz AF(SP)Act; not many of us have given serious thought to it but you did and whatever be your opinion, opposed to mine, it was logically argued. We differed and I believe WE AGREED TO RESPECT our positions without any personal acrimony coming into it. I value that; not many of us quite manage to do that. Spencer has said it all too. Spencer Thank you for taking the time to write in my goodbye post. I have always maintained that both brickbats and bouquets are welcome from genuine people. Its the fakers and abusers i usually ban from commenting. I have also kept each and every post of mine an open one, where people are free to put in their two cents. Hence deleting your comment is out of question. Yes writing is therapy for me, but I do not feel the need to put it up on public display. I used to always write in private, it wasn't till the beginning of this year that I had decided to put up my blog. Thank you very much for your suggesting Sulekha. However I no longer wish to publish my works anymore. As for taking sides between friends, I do not feel a little spark of misunderstanding between friends should be stoked so much that it turns into a full fledged fire that burns everything. So I choose to keep myself away. Finally a brave warrior fights all the battles, and a smart warrior chooses the battles he/she feels worthy of a fight. Romita

Govind I always believe there's a time, place and persona for everything. I can talk serious topics with people who wish to do so and be coquettish with those who want to flirt with me, provided i feel the same. If one wants to, then any disagreement can be peacefully resolved. Its the sideliners that cheer people on for their own entertainment. This is applicable for everything, even relationships. I may not have understood this before, but with the experience of a failed relationship behind me, its become crystal clear. One has so much to achieve and so much to do in the real world.
