I found a contracting job for a telecommunications company. The contract is for 2 years, but I'm hoping it will be contract to hire. This job and company are great! I love the people I work with; I especially love the company who's been around for years. I'm working with Centrex; basically, it's a PBX that routes anything associated with telephones. We also do POTS, so it's not all IP Telephony. The training was/is gruesome; it's still on-going. I started on 4/7/2009. This is a very new department, so it's a learn as you go kind of thing. The processes get changed everyday to ensure optimal support to the field. I LOVE IT! It keeps my brain busy. I may just upgrade IFF again.

YEAH, THEY LOADED THE CENTREX PROGRAMMING ON MY PC TODAY (well, I just noticed it). This means that "TCOM" management likes me. I get to start with Centrex programming soon. I'm just waiting for the passwords. SO COOL! I LOVE THIS TCOM&COMPANY!
