Love with no reprove is not love.

While loving and being loved one must be ready for words of reprove. When two people are close they may point the things one wish to either change or mend, assuming this is a right step en-route better communication.
Unwillingness to accept words of criticism is only natural. These words can hurt or generate fear of reduction in the love due to the flaws at stake. But words that originate from the heart engulf a blessing within - if indeed are meant to improve and not merely heralding one's ego. If we choose to accept and internalize them the path and the strength for a closer and better relationship will be discovered.
The process of internalizing words of reprove should be done without leaving one's own personality behind but by metamorphosing old behavioral patterns with new and improved ones.

So very true! What is more disappointing is their behavior in totally refusing to even look and consider a different viewpoint.

Did all these men who posted before me consistently fail to get through to their loves so just learnt to keep quiet to avoid trouble?
It was probably your way of getting your point across. Don't put down or make fun of them if you're really trying to be constructive for their own good. Otherwise, it's just an expression of your own resentment. I'm really talking to nkskl here, as I don't know the others.

Hi Mrex
You are so right in saying that. Some people's vision is very myopic, and yet they cannot see the impression they make on others.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving your thoughts behind

Hi Tara
Nice to see you here
You said it ... most men believe that silence is Golden, and the value of Gold is quite high in India
Trying to be 'constructive for their own good' sometimes is a waste of energy as I recently found out. I need my energy for more positive inspirations
