A variation of the same:

Turn on my mind and my body (heart) might follow.

That's the gate.

I think the gate is else where.

Mohhn, the key to the gate is in her mind. Once you find the way to her mind, it wont be too difficult to locate the key

Hi Tara

I like yoiur version too. Many men think the other way around, and it's difficult to make them understand that they have to take a detour

Kunal Ji, I can see that many a man try to travel through a women's mind , which is actually quite futile as women use different spheres of their brain, and for man to enter that sphere is quite an effort, which might just be a bit too exhausting for his wonderful simple mind.

However, on the other hand, many men travel through a women mind without much effort as she digests their thoughts and intentions with pleasure

Namaste

Gemini, the road is rather long and winding, and you better prepare yourself for a long, leisurely journey ... where no one can guide you, as every path has its own obstacles

Kunal "ji"???? heyyy kavi, I do not deserve that "ji"!!

Your thoughts are thought-provoking! If the destination is "close to one's heart", no road is difficult enough. If the road to a woman's heart is through her mind ... the determination to reach there comes from the man's mind!

the trouble is ... that sometimes "all roads lead to Rome"!! Poor man has to draw inspiration from Usain Bolt.

Sorry Kumar, but I'm old-fashioned. I still prefer the man to come to me, call me, and vow me. Must be my upbringing

Thanks for stopping by

You see, it all depends on how we perceive things. Now, a positive mind would be flattered and thank me for the compliment. But a pessimistic mind will read something totally different in it. I seem to be having this problem constantly with some people in India. Is that what they mean when saying 'Lost in Translation'?

heyyy Kavi ... you are right ... in India, we are used to compliments being direct and "attacks" being subtle!

Pardon a dumb friend, but now that I know what it was ... let me say that I indeed am flattered! .... try again, nothing shall be lost in translation this time!!

I keep telling my friends that "Sardar" is not a religion ... its a state of mind .... and there is a bit of "Sardar" in all of us ... which keeps surfacing from time to time - sometimes just at the wrong time!!
