I wanted to see it but the sky was clouded around here. I had to be contented with the pic provided in the newspaper

oh mrex ... to see the real thing is so much better. It was just breathtaking. The air was clear, the sky was optimal for viewing and it was so quiet and serene where I was.

Am sorry you couldn't experience it - but there might be something still tonight. I think the peak of the alignment was November 30 and December 1. It might not be as spectacular, but it's something.

BTW ... nice to see you again.

ACID .. hope you didn't have to view it alone. It's so much more romantic with two!

isabella...

it was a beautiful sight...
December has started off well with such a gift.
the sky was so clear and it showed up so well.

it is neat just to look at it and enjoy the moment...
the girls liked it too.

Foxy ... wasn't it though?

I remember back in the summer there was an alignment between the Moon and Venus that was also lovely to see - but hands down this one was even more spectacular with Jupiter added to the mix.

it is beautiful to watch when u see the stars and planets with the aid of a telescope!!!though i m a late joinee to the forum but this discussion is so close to my heart that i could not help but express........and isabella i am looking forward to your "AQUA story"i had written an opinion on your tattoo article thinking that you will be helped in your literary pursuit..........but you have removed it and it seems it was not a literary pursuit or love to India,it is some kind of display of your heart anyways stories were sort of mundane and boring but showed some kind of vengeance on someone, rather than mills and boons novels stuff, look i m a voracious reader and hence rather than cheap comments i lend a helping hand in your pursuit,as literature is a compilation of public opinion too...i do not know who u r and would not like to know,i found the blogs oozing with some stories of blood shed so i juz felt like commenting,i thought you are writing a novel i suppose !!!I was wrong????????some sour heart eh!(if someone represents my country wrongly with tattoo and stuff it does not go down my gullet and i could not help but write!!!good!u have removed those.........My INDIA is not tattoo and snake charmers, its culture is much more........( I am sure you understand from a person who loves her country right!!)

thank you for your comments florence. All I can say is that you have interpreted my writing completely wrong. And your comment was not the reason I removed my posts from this blog. There were other reasons.

As a side note .. my INDIA tattoo was done to represent my love for your country, plain and simple. I'm not ignorant nor am I illiterate. I know what India is and the tattoo was not meant to offend you or anyone else. It was done for me alone.

I have removed all my writing, everything I've done and poured my heart into from my last 2 years as isabella .. and I am not going to remove my tattoo as well just so somebody else can be happy. I'm done giving of myself and letting others do all the taking. I just wish everyone would leave me alone.

Thank you for posting a comment. There will be nothing further.

--- OH!!! It is sad that there will be nothing further......I thought it might develop into a good story may be if it had some depth...................----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All I can say is that you have interpreted my writing completely wrong.
Thanks for responding………..I will answer various aspects seperately, when a writer has written, it is left for the reader to interpret the way he or she perceives the writing…..the writer or a movie maker can only hope that it is perceived the way it was conceived.
And your comment was not the reason I removed my posts from this blog. There were other reasons. I have removed all my writing, everything I've done and poured my heart into from my last 2 years as Isabella.
It’s not in my interest to get you eliminate your blog or tattoo and for that matter I m not keen on finding the reason of removing those blogs.
Oh!!!! You must have poured your heart as a writer out but I as a reader couldn’t see the heart! Any ways.

As a side note. My INDIA tattoo was done to represent my love for your country, plain and simple. I'm not ignorant nor am I illiterate. I know what India is and the tattoo was not meant to offend you or anyone else. It was done for me alone.
At this juncture, I have to say that you may be scholarly but you are not acquainted with Indian culture……..you had mentioned that you had put India (name) or the map (not clear) on your leg……….In India we do not put stuff we love, pray or revere under our waist………. ) I have to say you are ignorant. One more thing if we do something for us alone we do not put it on community exhibition lolz.
And I am not going to remove my tattoo as well just so somebody else can be happy. I'm done giving of myself and letting others do all the taking. I just wish everyone would leave me alone.
Now I think I have touched some erroneous strings. I am not your special rival, I did not comment with the intention to eliminate these blogs or for that matter the tattoo………….The lingo used does make me comprehend that you are not an illiterate but through the writings in the blogs and even the approach with which you have replied I find a kind of immaturity………your silhouette makes me feel you are mature as you are 42 isn’t it? By the way tattoo does not go till one is alive of course in case it is not a painted and decorated transitory tattoo
