Has The Coward / Foolish and or should I say Foolish Coward RAJ THACKREY learnt His Lessons. Where were YOU Raj Thackeray and your army of brave soldiers when Mumbai needed the Marathi Manoos the most? You and your jokers and You RAJ being the best joker India ever had decided to duck yourself encosed with your bunch of brave soldiers aka jokers when terror visited My Mumbai / Our Mumbai on 26th.Nov, 2008. Ha Ha as you and your brave soldiers were so FRIGHTENED that the real brave Soldiers from North and South India were requisioned to save the "Marathi Manoos" and Mumbai. Please Raj now learn your lessons and stop fighting with fellow Indians. I am in no way suggesting that the Marathi Manoos are cowards, as to Why would the brave Maratha community opt for working for the services, be it Army, Navy and Air Force where they are required to fight the real enemy in the State of Jammu & Kashmir,in the North East Region of India,and beyond. Raj Thackeray, like his uncle, can just sit and talk. He and his Marathi men should have fought in Mumbai when the city was in the throes of the terrorist attack. He has taken cues from his uncle who attacked South Indians first, then Gujaratis and later went after Muslims, now North Indians. They have been trying to divide India along regional and communal lines. Its sad that they have been to won - with their allies - the State Vidhan Sabha elections and also been able to win for decades the Bruhan Mumbai Maha Nagar Palika elections. That this duo - uncle and nephew - are a bunch of cowards is in no doubt. They have been continously been helped by the Congress. In 1967, it was then Congress Chief Minister Vasant Rao Naik who helped the SS build a base and also looked the other way when the SS blockaded the then Deputy Prime Minister Morarji Desai's car. Again in 1986, when elections were held for the Bruhan Mumbai Maha Nagar Palika elections, it was again the then Congress Chief Minister Vasant Rao Dada Patil who helped the SS win the elections by falsely making a claim that the Centre - ruled by the same Congress - wanted to make Bombay (as it was known then) into a Union Territory. The Congress and the SS had a tacit understanding, the Congress would help the SS win the Nagar Palika elections and the SS would return the favour in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha. It was later on that they were helped by the BJP. What was shocking to see was the manner in which the MNS goons attacked poor North Indian taxi drivers, captured on Television. What a shame! Their role in the Mumbai riots in 1992 has been documented by a worthy Judge B N Srikirshna. We are still yet to see action against them for this horrendous acts. However while finding faults with these cowards, regionalism is not in Maharashtra alone. Its there everywhere, Tamil Nadu and Punjab being the main examples that we can take. We must also note that is the aggressive posture of certain North India politicians that helps garner support for parties like the MNS and the SS. Just take for example lower level jobs in Railways must usually be held by locals. In Maharashtra the Railways didn't even advertise these jobs for the Western and Central Railways in local Marathi newspapers, these adverts featured prominently in all North Indian Hindi dailies. As long as this attitude continues, the Marathi speaking people are going to be drawn to the SS and the MNS.

Eden , Hugs  to you for your blog - I posted this one a few days ago which maybe relevant :I made two posts earlier on this site when Mumbai was under siege; one an angry appeal to my media friends and another in salutation to those who laid down their lives to save many lives in besieged Mumbai. Mubaikars are brave and helpful to each other in difficulty - they showed it during the Mumbai floods and they showed it now. In all this, what amazed me is that Raj Thakre, who had left no stone unturned not only to prove that he was the sole champion of the Mumbaikars and Maratha cause but also to divide the country on regional lines by inciting violence and hatred against North Indians, was conspicuous by his silence and inactivity. I also add without any hesitation that Bala Saheb and Uddhav, who having felt that they were being upstaged by their more vocal and power hungry nephew, were extending an olive branch to Raj to lure him back to the Thakre brand of politics (I must also hasten to add that theirs is the same brand as Raj and his Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, albeit somewhat milder). This Father and Son duo were also similarly slothful and quiescent when they and their militant followers could have helped the security forces by voluntary help. After all they are the rabble rousers who have worked hard, FORTUNATELY UNSUCCESSFULLY, towards balkanisation of India on Hindu vs other religions and Maharashtrians versus other Indian lines. They will nonchalantly try and put up a rejoinder that they were quiet and inactive because they did not wish to interfere with the security forces' work; I, alongwith all India minded Indians, believe that that is far from the truth. They were very active in 1984 when our Sikh brethern were being targetted by others following Mrs Gandhi's assassination or in other communal riots/violence; in fact, some of them were amongst the perpetrators. I trace my ancestry to Maharashtra and am proud of this fact but hate to state that Thakre family has done all they can to undo unity of India. Do they realise : - that all Indians participated in the counter terrorist operation and two of them, who lost their lives while flushing out the terrorists, were from South India and North India, the latter a part of our great country that they have been so vocal against ?? - that we, the proud Indians, are proud to be Indians first and anything else thereafter ?? I suppose their avaracious motives have totally obliterated their mental ability. My salute to all our heros, sung and unsung, and I conclude with an appeal to Thakres and other similarly affected politicians that this is a reminder that, by exploiting our regional loyalties and short term objectives of power, they are leading us towards divisons that will leave us ripe in a situation that will easily be exploited by belligerents to put us under foreign yoke that left India deprived and backward for so many centuries. As I write this, a friend sitting next to me has just observed, “Do you think that Thakres or the other politicians care ??” I believe this is an apt supplement to the observations in your post. Hi, To me his so called movement is a political one, He wants recognition on national level by winning elections, We the people are full who follows his ideology and do whatever he wants us to do.He don't stand for anyone community ( time will tell), He is doing all this for himself. apparently he has lost out and no one respects such a foolish coward. The old fruit now has a murder case shoved under his glasses and 15 others in a court in Jharkhand on Saturday, following the death of a train passenger last month. It all began when one rather dissed Raju Mallik, a resident of Chaktita village, about 240 km from Ranchi filed a complaint in the Chief Judicial Magistrate's (CJM) court of Dhanbad district under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including that related to murder. Mallik and two of his friends, Sakaldeo and Vijay Singh, on October 19th were traveling from Dhanbad to Mumbai job hunting, and on their train to Mumbai a horde of MNS supporters entered the compartment and beat up passengers from north India to pulp. SHAME! Although Mallik managed to give the hormone high MNS supporters the slip, his two friends were knocked black and blue. And it doesn't end there - Sakaldeo was KILLED and Singh is to this day MISSING. The MNS supporters' ham fisted attempt to offer an explanation was that Sakaldeo's death as an accident. Thackeray, facing a lot of cheese over his party's campaign against people from outside Maharashtra working in that state, already has two arrest warrants pending against him in Jharkhand. Enough is Enough Indians finally getting back to reality i think RAJ THACKERY got his first kick in his butt when he faced public outrage when he tried his political gimmick by attending the funeral of ATS chief Mr Hemanth Karkare and there are reports coming out that the Proud Widow of Late MR Hemant Karkare has refused the one crore compensation relief offered by Mr NARENDRA MODI. If thats true I adore her and the family so much for that too. Let the POLITICIANS in India learn that 26/11 have changed the reality a lot. you are done with your gimmicks.
