Historic View ..there has been lot of thoughts given first of all i admire ur knowledge and interest yes Egyptians are the best civilised one in the ancient era..there are lot more about egyptians and their culture, but these days it seems have diminished and destroyed completely the research and archealogy surveys always say Egyptians are the pioneers in almost everything the worls owns

Hi yasmin in our history there are evidences to show that our indians have been visiting and doing business with people in Java, jamica and sumithra. So it can be understood easily that v had the expertise in building big vessels and boats to visit these places. From such evidence v can easily understand that the boats might have been used by our indians. Further if thorough research is conducted whether the boats are similar to that of the boats constructed by indians. Tan q for giving an opportunity for a good thought.

Yasmin, Indian or Egyptian, Ancient or Modern. Man has never been a passive creature looking at the whims and fancies of someone else out there. Rather I invite you to think of Sir Isaac Newton. He lived for little more than 300 years before now. Look at the disposition of mankind for 300 years after Newton and may be 30000 years before Newton. Ability of a single man to transform a world, I think, is more fascinating than an emergence of a civilization altogether. Think about it. You can also transform the world - single handed. why go that that far......see your calendar...daily sheets say the exact time of sunrise and set....rainfall....eclipse....what not....our people have been doing business around the globe.....but todays mankind.....they syeal their own self and are decisive to destroy the whole world.....hope we live till then.... HI YASMIN YES WHAT YOU HAVE SAID IS TRUE. The Egyptians were poineers in innovation,improvisation in the feilds of medicine,buildings,mathamatics,science,engineering marvels,shifting of huge boulders of stones without the help of modern cranes in fact during the construction of the PYRAMIDS YOU WILL BE SURPRISED THAT TODAYS MODERN MACHINES N CRANES WILL FAIL LIFTING SINGLE BLOCK THAT WAS LIFTED UP WITHOUT THE AID OF THSE MACHINES. Yes the boat /modern day ship building technology is indeed a gift from them. ISMAIL.

hi yas, it is true that egyptians were one of the oldest civilisations in the world. but here some corrections, oldest egytian boat are made by one kind of grass which grows along the banks of river Nile. These grass has a inherent buoyancy chamber's within itself and these grasses are tied together in the boat and made to sail. carving of single log and sewing timber together to make boat are much later developments at any case i admire ur knowledge
