anu ji, i cant say what is the correct way,,, b'coz i never been in ''socalled'' love... And if i fall in love in future... it was first and the Final, No brakeup, never, It is Pure Indian Love!lov ya virtually

Anu, the thought of breakup itself breaks my heart... then how, is another difficult part... I go with number two, yes u r right, face to face conversation... though it is more painful but that way each is given a chance to say somethg before parting.... [/COLOR Love with Passion.

Anu, I vote for number two. You must talk face to face & explain why you want to breakup.... this will help both parties in so many ways. I wish you a pure love. hope & pray that you will never have to face breakups.. take care

break-up tear u apart, n its hurts most when u think u n the other person well n also treat her as ur best friend. how u'll feel when one fine day somebody start behaving like a perfect stranger n some day sends u a mail saying its over.......

dear anu, i would definitely favour no. 2 option. many problems are sorted out if you talk face to face. otherwise things go on building inside and explode one day. break up or fight or any serious thing is never a result of one event, it builds up slowly and slowly and one day things goes out of control.my personal opinion.

Breakup is a difficult work.. But then why run away??? people come together only when they are comfortable with one another. so be it that way when they have to part ways, always leave in good books. you will never know when you need a close friend.

Anamika, I believe , Why open a window of opportunity, when one decide to break up .... so be it. break ups are painful no matter how you do it.... And i do not like confrontations either........If involved individuals know each others well they would know what the silence means

Personally, I have always done option 2. Though I haven't had the benefit of being the recipient of that basic human courtesy. When a partner goes into classic Shut Down or Avoidance Mode, it’s counter-intuitive for me but it may be better to mirror them. It’s easier said than done, as I hate being dangled. Pulling myself away often has the effect of re-pique-ing their interest. By which time, it’s too late. It leaves me stone cold.

HI ANAMIKA, YOUR OPTION SEEMS TO BE THE IDEAL. MOST PEOPLE WOULD VOTE FOR THE SAME. ME TOO. PARTICULARLY WHEN YO HAVE GIVEN YOUR CHOICE AS NO.2. OTHERWISE, I FEEL THAT YOUR ANSWER IS CORRECT. BREAK UP IS BAD, BUT BETTER THAN LIVING/GOING ON WITH A RELATIONSHIP THAT NO LONGER WORKS. OFTEN IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT WHEN ONE IS INTO A SERIES OF RELATIONSHIPS, ONE MAY REGRET HAVING BROKEN UP A PARTICULAR RELATIONSHIP. AFTER ALL RELATIONSHIP IS A LIMITATION OF FREEDOM. THERE CANNOT BE A RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT A MUTUAL SENSE OF OBLIGATION (CALL IT BY WHATEVER NAME, LOVE ETC..) HAVING SAID ALL THESE, WHEN IT IS TIME TO BREAK UP, YOUR OPTION IS THE BEST, AS IT WOULD SAVE A LOT OF FUTURE TROUBLE. YET, A LOT WOULD REMAIN UNSAID!
