A certain section of the Parents were vehemently opposing the concept of Corporal Punishment for their wards so much so that even a verbal reprimand was objected to and even a write down punishment was opposed. After the meet, we were invited to our friend’s residence in the vicinity of the School, were shocked to see this Parent who was earlier objecting to Corporal Punishment, didn’t think twice in slapping her 9th.std. Daughter, as she accidentally dropped the Talcum Powder Box, which sullied the floor. Parents please don’t indulge in double standards viz in Public and in Private.
