"I am happily married and satisfied with what I have. I am not looking to change anything"
When I read such profiles, it really makes me want to laugh as it seems that the person writing the profile has probably picked that sentence from some other profile and does not seem to know the implications of the sentence. I even wonder if the person is stupid.
Before stating such sentences in your profile, I would suggest you think about this. If you are happy with your life and not looking to change anything, when the heck are you even placing your profile on a dating or friendship site. Only people who are looking to change their lifes or who are not happy or satisfied with what they have would look for something more. When you say you are happy with what you have, it means you should not be looking for anything more. Who are you trying to bullshit with such a statement.
Any profiles which state the above sentence would already tell the person that you are a liar as if you are happy, you should not even be on a site for people seeking someone whether for friendship, fun or anything else.
Most people do not seem to understand what a profile is all about and they just say things which they do not know theymself what it means just because it sounds nice or good.
My advice to everyone out there, before posting a profile, please be sure what you want to tell people. To me as a woman, the above statement is a sure fire way of me having no interest in wasting my time with such men. Why would I want to waste time with a man who cant even be honest about what he wants.
People do not seem to realise that the way a profile is written is the first impression of what people will have of you and what you seek, it can also be a put off or a put on depending on how you write it.
For those who think that writing the above statement or just saying 'I'll tell you later' is going to get you any response, think again.
