He who eats in a coarse way abhors himself.
The mouth has two very unique functions among our body organs.
Food - The building blocks of our body that contains our soul - is being consumed through it.
Eating in a peaceful way provides one self with awareness: Being able to appreciate the taste and evaluate the nutritious value and benefits of the food being consumed.
Eating should be a conscious process generating good energy and good feeling and resulting in a positive experience.
This awareness may also help us knowing when to stop - by focusing on satisfying our hunger and not false needs or wishes.
The second function of the mouth is talking:
Omitting words which are the mirror of our soul.
Appreciation of nutritious ingredients in our food and being conscious of our eating habits will encourage awareness of our soul and our expression of it through words.
.
When I was small, I was taught to chew each mouthful 36 times. Today, I was told that I chew each morsel 55 times.
Perhaps that is the secret why I stay slim

Books are a lot like woman.
They relax at the bookstore on the shelves
until you open them up;
from then on you will have both hands full!.....

Don't blame me .... I'm only the messenger of true incidences

My sister passed away and her funeral was scheduled for Monday. When I told my Boss, he said she died on purpose so that I would have to miss work on the busiest day of the year. The Young Child & The Sea

A number of Primary Schools were doing a project on "The Sea." Kids were asked to draw pictures or write about their experiences. Teachers got together to compare the results and put together some of the comments that were funny and some that were sad. Here are some of them. The kids were all aged between 5 and 8 years:
.
This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles. (Kelly age 6)
Whales are animals, not fish. If they don't get air they can drown, like my brother did last summer. (David age 7 - His brother is okay!)
Oysters' balls are called pearls. (James age 6)
If you are surrounded by sea you are an Island. If you don't have sea all around you, you are incontinent. (Wayne age 7)
I think sharks are ugly and mean, and have big teeth, just like Emily Richardson. She's not my friend no more. (Kylie age 6)
A dolphin breaths through an butthole on the top of it's head. (Billy age 6)
My uncle goes out in his boat with pots, and comes back with crabs. (Millie age 6)
When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cross the ocean. Sometimes, when the wind didn't blow, the sailors would whistle to make the wind come. My brother said they would be better off eating beans. (William age 7)
I like mermaids. They are beautiful, and I like their shiny tails. How do mermaids get pregnant? (Helen age 7)
I'm not going to write about the sea. My baby brother is always screaming and being sick, my Dad keeps shouting at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can't think what to write. (Amy age 8 )
Some fish are dangerous. Jelly fish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers. (Christopher age 7)
My mom has fish nets, but doesn't catch any fish. (Laura age 5)
When I grow up, I want to be captain of a big ship, and have lots of sailors. (Valerie age 6)
On holiday my Mom went water skiing. She fell off when she was going very fast. She says she won't do it again because water shot up her fanny. (Julie age 7)

I Shall Resign

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old.
I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple; When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care.
All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So... here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause.......tag! You're it!

Things That Sound Dirty In Law But Aren't...
Have you looked through her briefs?

He is one hard judge!

Counselor, let's do it in chambers.

His attorney withdrew at the last minute.
 Is it a penal offense?
Better leave the handcuffs on.
For $200 an hour, she better be good!
Can you get him to drop his suit?
The judge gave her the stiffest one he could. Think you can get me off?

Murphy's Ten Laws of Computers...

10. When computing, whatever happens, behave as though you meant it to happen.

9. When you get to the point where you really understand your computer, it's probably obsolete.

8. The first place to look for information is in the section of the manual where you least expect to find it.

7. When the going gets tough, upgrade.

6. For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction.

5. To err is human . . . to blame your computer for your mistakes is even more human, it is downright natural.

4. He who laughs last probably made a back-up.

3. If at first you do not succeed, blame your computer.

2. A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from a simpler system that worked perfectly.

and Murphy's Number One Law of Computing. . . . .
1. The number one cause of computer problems is computer solutions.

~*~ Converse With Thought ~*~

Think at length and Then converse.
Meaning:
The word 'conversation' insinuates the desired result of 'first think, then talk' strategy: the creation of ingredients that will allow a dialectic process of conversation.
A conversation that contributes to its participants is a conversation of which each member is listening and analyzing the words spoken. Only then a reaction is rendered, ensuring progression of thoughts and mutual fertilization.
Internalizing this practice will allow progression until the source and the root of the issue at hand is explored investigated thoroughly.

*^*^* Words From the Heart *^*^*

Things that come out of the heart, goes into the heart.

Meaning:
The virtue of honesty, truthfulness and integrity are our subjects' matter.
If we find honesty and openness to be 'major players' when communicating with someone, observing the nature of the spoken words closely will reveal this person has opened his heart to us. His words, coming out of his heart have entered into our heart.
Most people are oriented towards upgrading their economical or social status (goes hand in hand). Therefore most of their words are targeted likewise. If we offer true and honest words coming from the heart, they may return the same - in words that eventually will come out of their hearts.
The way this can be arrived at is through studies, resulting in an internal change of priorities, and through practice of a non-political conversation: no hidden interests are allowed!

~*~*~ Love ~*~*~
|

Love that doesn't depend on anything can never be annihilated.
Meaning:
Often we feel we "love" - or "fall in love". But if we examine closely the nature of this love - we shall find sooner or later this love depends on something - and when this something vanishes, we "fall out of love" immediately.

Unfortunately, we live in a time that praises the value of form beyond any proportions. Most of the time the 'love' is love of the form, and when the value of the form becomes obsolete - that love vanishes - like a fashion that calls for a new pair of shoes.

Another example is a love when the person who is being loved is to fulfill a position or a role - like a missing father, a missing social status etc. Later, when the person who 'loves' discovers the role is not being acted upon - the love annihilates.

A true love is a true connection between two souls. The meaning of this connection is giving a minimum value to the packaging of the souls, i.e. the bodies, since we know this will soon cease to exist in the form we first saw it!
