Like a butterfly without wings, And a knife with no blade, A rose is nothing Without its fragrance.
You can hold it and feel it, And decorate it to your heart’s desire, But a rose is nothing indeed If it does not have any fragrance.
White rose, yellow rose, Be it red or pink, A rose won’t touch anyone’s senses If it does not have its fragrance.
Like an ocean without waves, And an eye without vision, A rose is nothing Without its fragrance.....

Can anyone guess the most popular fruit around worldwide that appears in various colours sizes and shapes?? OOOOOOppppppppppSSSSS...i didn't know what you were thinking. But i was thinking of Apples..Hmmmm.....Apples are yummy....and those are my favouries.. Apple is such a common fruit, people take it for granted.
Some examples of it include:
*one of the world's leading computer industries is named apple and it uses an image of a half-eaten, multi-colored apple as it's main logo?
*Giving our teachers apples rather than oranges. Why do we give our teachers apples and not oranges?
Why is apple so closely related to academics? However have you ever wondered WHY? it maybe because apples are instincted as great knowledge.
If you adore someone, and hold that "someone" so close to your heart, would you say " she/ he's the apple of my eye" or "she/he's the kiwi of my eye"?. I think the answer would be, apple of my eye, because Apples are considered supreme.
Significance of Apples Since Ancient Time
It is an old custom in China to give the bride an apple before she gets married,to bestow goodluck and everlasting safety on her married life.
It was a beleif that the tree of knowledge simply grew apples.
Apples are so common in many parts of the world. Different parts of the world have different folklores about it. Therefore apples have a great significance in our human lives. . Because the apple was the fruit of fruits. During the ancient times, people thought the pupil of one's eye was like an apple. Hence, the idiom goes " APPLE OF ONE'S EYE"

I've been living alone, trying to get you out of my life, but after all this time, I can't help myself but miss you. You were once a dream that came true. An illusion that turned to reality... but suddenly.... Things turned changed the way it used to be, until such time i had no choice but to let you go. You are the reason for my sleepless nights, cause you are on my mind. I cant help myself from crying, cause i miss you so much. All the pain and sadness are bound inside my heart. All your memories are still preserved in my mind. I miss you so much, cause I cant hide the fact, That Im still in love with you so much. My life will never be the same again. I'll be trapped in this loneliness forever. I thought this was a shiveree... I would never have to write.
Here are my feelings. just a few; "I'm still so in love with you, after all this time. you told me the same. then left me.... what a crime Time has passed. Everyday you are on my mind. Your love is with someone else now... what a bind!! I'm so jealous. shes the luckiest woman i know. I can't do this friendship thing anymore.. so off i go. The pain of losing you is still fresh in my mind. Will we ever be together again??? I ask myself, as i sob and mope, as each day passes. I'll always love you... Hold these words true. Don't hate me for this. This is what pain is making me do. My heart has scattered to pieces... Do i still have a place in your heart?????"

pompousness of Self confidence,Self esteem or Self assurance in our lives.

The Dictionary defines confidence as freedom of doubt; belief in yourself and your abilities. Many people lack the self-confidence and self-esteem needed to live a happy and healthy life. Self-esteem is a confidence and satisfaction in oneself. These two things must be present in people's daily lives in order for them to believe that they have the ability to do anything. At this point in my life I am trying to gain the esteem I need to truly be happy. The best way to gain self-confidence is to look deep inside of yourself and believe that you have the ability to overcome all obstacles and challenges that you are faced with, on a daily basis, because our self-esteem is one of the few things that we have control over. Self-confidence is something that cannot be taught. It is up to the individual to decide how much belief that they possess inside of themselves. I am at the point where I realize that I must first believe in myself before others will believe in me. Nobody teaches us to be happy or sad. They are natural feelings that come along as we develop mentally and physically. Most often these feelings come from people allowing the negativity of other people to overcome them. I have allowed society to determine how I should look, dress and feel. It is time for me to take a stand and be in control of my own destiny. You have to be willing to take control of your life and whatever is holding you back. It is time that people take a look within themselves and see what beauty they possess inside. Nobody should have to tell us how wonderful and special we are. If you do not have respect for yourself then you cannot possibly believe that others will respect you. When you get to the point where you allow others to dictate how you feel about life, you have to stop and take an internal survey. So often we, as a people, look for the validation from society before we validate ourselves. It is okay for us to be hard on ourselves sometimes because it only makes us stronger. I need to gain self-confidence and self-esteem so that I can live a productive life. Ask yourself if your lack of self-confidence and self-assurance is holding you back from being the best that you can possibility be. You allow people to get in mind and affect the way you feel about yourself.

 Old People's Day October 1.....................
In our fast ageing world, older people will increasingly play a critical role; through volunteer work, transmitting experience and knowledge. Helping their families with caring responsibilities and increasing their participation in the paid labour force.
Already now, older persons make major contributions to society.
Such contributions to development can only be ensured if older persons enjoy adequate levels of health, for which appropriate policies need to be in place.
We all should respect, love and take care of them..as they are the basis of our lives.
"Ageing is a development issue. Healthy older persons are a resource for their families, their communities and the economy."

The Queen Of The Home..............
The King upon his throne has the power to rule his subjects, and there's no one else mightier compared to his presence. Like wise, a mother has no higher authority besides her children and home. The mother is queen of her household. She has in power the moulding of her children's characters, that they may be fitted for the higher immortal life. An Angel could not ask for a higher mission;for in doing this work, she is doing a service for God. Let a mother realise the high character of her task and it will inspire her with courage. The mother is the queen of the home, and the children are the subjects. she is to rule her household wiselty, in the dignity of her motherhood. Her influence on her work should be paramount. The children are to be taught to regard their mother not as a slave, whose work is to wait on them, but as a queen who is to guide and direct them. The mother appreciates her own work rarely and frequently sets so low an estimate upon her labour that she regards it as domestic drudgery. She goes through the same round day after day, week after week, with no special marked results. She cannot tell at the close of the day the many little things she has accomplished. Placed beside her husband's achievement, she feels that she has done nothing worth mentioning. The father frequently comes in with a self satisfied air and proudly recounts what he had accomplished through the day. he criticizes and censures and dictates as though he was the lord of the creation.
However, even if the father's tend to boast by their accomplishes every mother should feel that their moments are priceless. Mothers should work for a greater degree to enlighten the destiny of her children.

Should law be used as a means of social change?????
Society is an evolving phenomenon and does not remain static. All societies experience change and growth. Modern societies change more rapidly. They have goals, which they strive to achieve and therefore, create new policies, strategies, techniques and continuously develop and change. Law is amongst the many factors that cause social change.law supports stability in societies that are stagnant and does not want to change, however it supports, sustains and creates change in societies that are willing to change. Social change means modifications of the way people work, rear a family, educate their children, govern them and strive to achieve goals in life. Change could mean altering the basic ways and values. A change in the basic attitude on matters such as family life, religion, language, government or social economic and political issues.....
2 Contrasting Views as to whether law should be used as a means of social change
The first view is: * law should not attempt at changing a society but should essentially follow the existing norms, by which a society is governed. Such a law is an effect of social change rather than a cause; so that lawyers and jurists formulate legal rules when society progresses and becomes complex.
* law recognizes the active and dynamic potential of law as a tool of change. Some legalistic writers believe that law is active, dynamic and has great potential to bring about desired changes. whereby they interpret law as distinct from the society that it governs, and can be used as an independent agency of social regulation and control.....

Before I Met You, My Life Was Empty.
Before I met you, Life was empty, It was just a blank paper My heart was sore, it was like a dying horse You made it happy, Like a lovely puppy. It hops and gallops around, Like a rabbit abound. Sometimes it hisses, Just like a rattling snake. sometimes it wrinkles, Like a bat's moving wings... But My Love! Its only when im with you.
When you are away, its alone and weak, Like a thirsty crow's beak. When you touch me, It seems a bee flying around a hive... Never wanting to loose the time. When you kiss me, It urges a quirky Whim. And dances like a graceful deer. When you look into my eyes, It chimes, Like a beautiful delicate tinkle.....

Sweep off the debris of past....

Sweep off the debris of past....
Over the Years, I have carried boxes, Treasures, Objects, Old shreds of people, who had hurt and cared. People i had pared down, in memories and dreams. People who had shrunk and grown, those who had left me all alone, i sang their song. i kept their faces, in sacred places, in my mind. A kind of album, of my life... my child hood years. My days as a wife... my broken toys, my shattered joys, lying in a myriad pieces, near my feet. Swept into piles with all my smiles, that faded all too soon woven in to the cosset.... Which you quietly unwrapped. Where somewhere, deep within, u found me hidden. You came to know, how much i care.
I noticed, how much good u have been... it was... what i should have seen, an eternity before......
The debris beneath the bed, the brittle chaos in my head, the wilted flowers, forgotten hours, the whispers and the taste of fume buried in the loft of mine... not so many years,
And suddenly the tears... seemed to have mattered not at all. As you bring me all the joys. I now cherish, to hold and keep..... and i, laughing, pull aside the blinds , let in the sun, pickup the broom, and finally, begin to sweep...
