Do you like bugs?

Once when I was meditating, I became so serene and in tune with nature that flies came right up to my hands and let me touch them. . Another time when I was feeling benevolent, I saw a cockroach in a space where the top of my kitchen sink almost met the bottom of the counter. I told it that it was welcome so long as it didn't multiply. I felt communion with it. I gradually moved my hand closer to it till it let me touch it. I saw it many times after that. We were friends. . But it multiplied, or some cockroaches did, and I assumed at the time that my friend had done so. I put down boric acid powder to kill the cockroaches. I regretfully squashed my friend one time when I saw him in the usual place of our communion. . Months later, a new variety of cockroaches with wavy antennae came to that apartment. One sat in the spot where my friend had sat. I felt a mixture of benevolence and annoyance. When I moved my hand slowly toward it, it moved alternately toward and away from my hand, as though it were indecisive whether I were friend or foe. . Perhaps one spirit is the soul of a nest of cockroaches. Perhaps when the cockroach bodies die, the cockroach spirit lives to be the soul of a future nest of cockroaches. Perhaps the same cockroach spirit was the soul of the old and new nests in that apartment. . What experiences and thoughts would like to share regarding bugs?

Do vaccines cause more disease than they prevent?

Do vaccinated populations have lower rates of infections and other diseases, or higher rates?
Do vaccinated populations have less intense and damaging infections and other diseases, or more intense and damaging, on average?
What contaminations and unintended additional germs and viruses are included in the living tissues in which vaccines are manufactured? What nerve toxins and other poisons are added to vaccines? Are fermentation and rotting included in vaccine manufacturing processes?
Is it especially dangerous to vaccinate pregnant or nursing mothers or small children or the elderly or individuals weakened by existing conditions?
Do vaccinations cause autism and other learning and social disorders?
Do vaccinations cause apparent shaken baby syndrome and sudden infant death syndrome? Are parents and caregivers jailed because of apparent shaken baby syndrome, when it was actually vaccinations that caused the condition?
How many physicians and nurses around the world refuse to have themselves or their families vaccinated?

Drugs?

Hypocritical false friends include coffee, tobacco, betel, alcohol, marijuana, hashish, opium, etc., that entice and seduce with feelings and illusions of pleasure, happiness, freedom, ability, spontaneity, imagination, creativity, perception, understanding, wisdom, etc., while they actually ensnare into confusion, weakness, delusion, frustration, disappointment, failure, loss, despair, and finally, numbness and apathy, which are living death. One of their illusions is that we can avoid or undo their harm by using them in moderation.
We can overcome all detrimental conditions and attain all beneficial desires through honest discipline, sincere wisdom, patient optimism, and balanced harmony. Balance does not mean moderation or compromise. Balance means giving relatively equal responsibility to the well-being of oneself, one's life partner and/or most intimate friend, children and/or others one edifies, family and/or closest friends, one's groups, humankind, all living things, all physical things, spirits and all spiritual things, God or infinity, aesthetics, and ethics.

Can all religions be sometimes peaceful and tolerant but sometimes intolerant and violent?

Most individuals of all religions and philosophies, or of none, are peaceful, tolerant, ethical, and productive.
I was brought up with informal leanings toward the philosophies of Zen and Tao, but without any doctrine or practice. I live in a predominantly Christian and Jewish society with many other religions, practicing mostly freely, though some individuals in all groups still have lingering prejudices. My personal viewpoint is that all religions and philosophies have unique wisdoms and joys to offer but that none is perfect.
I have heard much stereotyping and profiling of Islam and Muslims. Six hundred years ago, when Christianity was the age that Islam is now, had Christianity lately finished its oppressive thieving bloody Crusades, and was Christianity intensifying its suppressive torturous murderous Inquisition?
Even back then, I'm sure most individual Christians were peaceful, tolerant, ethical, and productive. And today, most individual Christians and Muslims are peaceful, tolerant, ethical, and productive.
Today, many Christian and Islamic leaders are peaceful and open-minded, but some aren't. Will most Christian and Islamic leaders become peaceful and open-minded during the next six hundred years?
Have all the other religions and philosophies in the world done both good and evil, too?
I love all religions and most philosophies, and I perceive all of them as doing much great good but also some great harm. Just as we people are not perfect, so are religions and philosophies not perfect.
Shall we dialog within our religions and philosophies, and between our religions and philosophies, and work to aim our religions and philosophies toward tolerance, peacefulness, and benevolence toward all?

if you want your man to feel pleased with you don't subject him to a rug on the toilet lid so that the seat falls down midstream
nor a rug on the floor in front of the toilet in case his meatus is sticky and skews his aim
Women, what should we men know about you to please you?
Men, what should women know about us to please us?

Could AIDS have other causes besides a virus?

Is AIDS more common among miners who inhale toxic dust, and other people who work or live in toxic environments?
Could AIDS sometimes be caused by miners' lung contamination, or other environmental or lifestyle hazards, such as drug abuse?
Do some mine owners and some of their customers blame workers' supposed "promiscuity," to hide their own liability?
