once upon a time the colors of the world started to quarrel. All claimed that they were the best;the most important, the most useful, the favorite
green said: "clearly i am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all .b..b. anima ./b.l./b.s would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that i am in the majority."
blue interrupted: "you only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing."
yellow chuckled: "you are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sunflower, the whole world starts to smile. Without me there would be no fun."
orange started next to blow her trumpet: "i am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but i am precious for i serve the needs of human life. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes, and papayas. I don't hang around all the time, but when i fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, my beauty is so striking that no one gives another thought to any of you."
red could stand it no longer, he shouted out: "i am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life's blood! I bring fire into the blood. I am willing to fight for a cause. I am the color of danger and of bravery. Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the color of passion and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy."
purple rose up to his full height: he was very tall and spoke with great pomp: "i am the color of royalty and power. Kings, chiefs, and bishops have always chosen me, for i am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey."
finally indigo spoke, much more quietly than all the others, but with just as much determination: "think of me. I am the color of silence. You hardly notice me, but without me you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep water. You need me for balance and contrast, for prayer and inner peace."
so the colors went on boasting, each convinced of his or her own superiority. Their quarreling became louder and louder. Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening.
Thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort. In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: "you foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest.
Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different? Join hands with one another and come to me." doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands.
The rain continued: "from now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow." and so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a rainbow appears in the sky, let us remember to appreciate one another

" Overcoming our Obstacles".
Have you ever wondered why it is that some of us seem to stumble on the path towards success? I see so many give up and quit, just as I did. People quit many things everyday in their lives. They quit their jobs, they quit their marriages, they quit school, they quit businesses, and many quit on themselves. Many ask themselves, why is it that every time I am this close to success something always has to happen? That was a question I always asked myself. I realized those were also the words my caregivers used to say. They soon became my words, too. With a slight change in perspective, here is my opinion on obstacles.
Obstacles are the recipe for success. Without obstacles we could no longer achieve success. Every obstacle you encounter, means you are one step closer to success, but only if you learn to persist and overcome them. If you can view an obstacle as a temporary wall, with enough faith in your ability, and a
strong desire to succeed, you will understand that the wall will vanish. Every time you are faced with this wall, before giving up and quitting, stop and think, "If I were to overcome this obstacle, what would I accomplish? Would it help me to achieve what I want and would it allow me to be where I want to be?" If
the answer is yes, then figure out what would it take to break that obstacle for you to continue on your path towards success. As my friend has said, "There are no problems, just a shortage of ideas", and repeat that to yourself many times during the day. "There are no problems just a shortage of ideas."
All you require to overcome an obstacle is one idea and a desire to succeed. Your mind is never a shortage of those ideas except for what you limit your mind to contain. Obstacles are truly an opportunity if your desire is strong enough. Start looking for the obstacles.
'Whatever you give a woman, she's going to multiply. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.'
So - if you give her crap, you will receive a bucket full of shit
" For Every Action , there is equal and opposit reaction" -
A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about Grandfather," said the son. "I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor." So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the
family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.
The four-year-old watched it all in silence. One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?"
Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up." The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate
every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.
Children are remarkably perceptive. Their eyes ever observe, their ears ever listen, and their minds ever process the messages they absorb. If they see us patiently provide a happy home atmosphere for family members, they will imitate that attitude for the rest of their lives. The wise parent realizes that every day the building blocks are being laid for the child's future.
Your thoughts are the beginning of creating anything in your life. Our beliefs mold our experiences. When you tune into what it is you believe about any given situation; you will understand why your life moves in the direction of that belief. Whatever it is you think about is what you will attract to yourself. So, as you acquire the knowledge about the “art of creating”; you will gain the power to change any circumstance in your life.
First you need to decide what it is you would like to create; a better body, a more loving relationship, a new career, financial security, a new attitude, peace of mind, or a home on the beach. It all starts with making a choice. These choices are what goals are made of; they give you a road map to reach your destination and they put you on a path to attaining your desires.
Clearly defining what you want will allow you to begin to consciously focus your thoughts on your intentions. You will actually start to see more of whatever it is you want come into your view. Let’s say you want a home on the beach; suddenly you will start to see movies with beach scenes, people will begin to talk about vacations to exotic places, or magazines you read will feature beach homes. You may think this is a coincidence but as you purposefully direct your thoughts to what you desire; you will attract more of it into your life. This is called the “Law of Attraction.”
Next, you must picture yourself living what you want to experience. See yourself walking down the beach, imagine having a glass of wine by the pool while watching the sunset and feel the ocean breeze touching your skin as you entertain your closest friends. Create in your mind the delicious feeling of having realized your dreams of living on the beach. As you paint a vivid picture in your mind; wrap your emotions around these images; and you will break down the barriers of time.
Consistency, commitment and discipline in continually training your thoughts to think about what you desire, backed by your passion to attain it; will manifest your dreams into reality. The key is that you have to be dedicated to and have the passion to do what it takes to create your truest desires. By taking time each day to focus on whatever it is you want to create; will put you well on your way to experiencing it.
Stay true to yourself. Use your mind to create a whole new world and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. Creation is the artistic side of your mind. Begin to design your life and what you want to experience; by implementing the “art of creating” into your life.
A little boy walked up to his dad one day and asked, "Dad, what is politics?" The dad pondered the question for a moment and then replied, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way. I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me Capitalism. Your mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the People. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense." And so the little boy went off to bed thinking about what his Dad had told him.
Later that night, the little boy heard his baby brother crying and got up to check on him. He found that the baby had severely soiled his diaper. He went to his parents room only to find his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her he went to the Nanny's room. He found the door locked. He peeked into the keyhole only to find his father in bed with the Nanny. Finally, the little boy decided to give up and go back to bed. The next morning the little boy looked up at his father from the breakfast table and said, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now." The father replied "Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is about." The little boy replied, " Well, while Capitalism is screwing the working Class, The Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in Deep Shit."
