This amazing song came from the lips of a 7 year old girl in Fadar's Cafe in Baghdad. A well known gathering place for poets, writers and dissidents. From the documentary movie "I KNOW I"M NOT ALONE" 2005. A reprint from a year ago post.

We dont usually read newspapers much, but when we do, we seem to gleam those items that are upon this heart. yesterday in LOS ANGELES TIMES and in USA TODAY:

Under George Bush jr, the ban on assault rifles expired here in U.S in 2004, so people are buying the heck outta them to. ` Yes America has its share of fearful out of balance people (one need look no further than the white house to realize this fact).
So we ask fer prayers on behalf of Barrack Obama and his family, fer there safty n fer removing the obsticals before his incoming administration and actions they will take upon foreign n domestic policies, who may be able to reverse some of the catastrophic damage created by this Bush regime. Thank you. We wish you the Highest Good thru this weekend in all yer endeavors.

We heard once that this mind, given ample time can be a terrible master, Fer this soul resides above. So we ask, why is the spiritual, only just a passing interest with the many? Why when a blog about drama n sex gets the highest views of interest? This attraction to the negatives, shared desires couched in what? Billions spent upon gossip rags, the thirsty beings, hungering fer the drama of others. Wondering, perhaps maybe the lack of livin the lack of giving the lack of going out ..... ......... really experiancing life... perhaps a reason fer these attractions... of the mind?

Actually, I am pissed off by the comments of a few folks we have read earlier this day, I quote, "The holocaust did not happen and Hitler was a great leader", and he did our people a great favor in 'taking care of the jews for us', as they are bad luck to my people. (some may wonder why I refer to Hitler as "my cousin", is to remind self, that I am not greater than he, that nobody died and made me God, to sit in judgement that I am good and he is Evil, I reckon to prefer to leave the sitting in judgement of others to God! And yes contrary to a great many beliefs, we are all of us related) ~~ Here are some facts about this Holocaust that did not happen, under the Great Visionary leader Adolph Hitler: ` "Germany's response to its war crimes has been largely lauded by former allies. The government of the Federal Republic of Germany offered official apologies for Germany's role in the holocaust. Additionally, German leaders have continuously expressed repentence, most notably when former chancellor Willy Brandt fell on his knees in front of a Holocaust memorial in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1970. Germany has also paid extensive reperations, including $70 BILLION to the state of Israel. It has given $15 BILLION to Holocaust survivors (all) and will continue to compensate them until 2015. Additionally the German government coordinated an effort an effort with German companies that used slave labor during the war; the companies will pay $1.7 BILLION to victims. Germany also establshed a National Holocaust Memorial Museum in Berlin for looted property. The German education system focuses on teaching about the Third Reich & denounces the crimes commited during WW2. Additionally, German legislation outlaws Nazi works like "Mein Kampf" & makes HOLOCAUST DENIAL a criminal offence. Furthermore, even other symbols of Nazism, like the Swastika & so called "Hitler salute", are illegal in Germany." ` I would say just the fact alone of the German government forking over $85 BILLION fer something that did not happen .......QUITE.......INCREDIBLE!
Heres a break down of this imaginary event in history: ~ Approxamately 17 Million Slavs ( Poles, Russians, Ukranians, Belarusians, serbs, , Italians, Greeks, Chechs, French Belgium, Holland, Swedish,Norwegian and Arab and Albanian muslims), Roma (otherwise called Gypsies), Mentally Ill, Homosexuals, Political Opponents, around 50,000 Germans that just liked....get this.....liked to listen and dance to american swing music......... Around 10.3 million were slavs, just under 5.3 million jews, 258,000 to 400,000 Roma & 220,000 Homosexuals. Every arm of Nazi Germany's bereaucracy was involved in the logistics of the mass murder, turning the country into what one holocaust scholar has called "A Genocidal Nation." ` ~ ~ I believe very strongly that to deny or forget the lessons of history is committing us to perpetual cycles of repetition in the suffering department, Dont you think so???????? Not unlike what is taking place in Africa right now.......... ~ P.S. The picture is of the diary of Tanya Savicheva, a girl of 11, who during the 872 day siege of Leningrad (now St Petersburg)wrote the notes about starvation and deaths of her Grandmother, then Uncle, then Mother, then brother, the last record saying ...."only Tanya is left." She died of progressive dystrophy shortly after the siege. Her diary was shown as evidence at the Neuremburg trials. More than a million civilians died of outright starvation during the siege of leningrad............. We cannot say we wont write anymore about genocide in say Darfur, the Congo or elsewhere, but it will be awhile before we spend this much time on remembering so many experiances in grief.......... and so many opportunities to do good...wasted
During the height of the battle of Stalingrad in december 1942, where between 10,000 to 14,000 russians a day were being wounded and 4,000 to 6,000 germans a day were wounded, while around 3,600 russians were dying a day, and around 1,400 germans a day. We heard a story of an extrordinary doctor who had lost an arm escaping from the encirclement n susiquent siege of Leningrad. She had lost her entire family escaping (bomb blast, She also happened to be of the Jewish persuasion. Being of one arm hindered her in the surgery arena. so she worked triage as the person to decide the priority of who got help first. She got stopped by a political officer one day (political officers under the Stalinist regime had THE POWER TO KILL YOU WHERE U STOOD..WITHOUT HESITATION), She was asked why she had been allowing wounded german prisoners ahead of wounded russians. ~~ She answered succinctly "I will treat all men equaly, russian or german, they are human beings too.". ~~ The eastern front of WW2 was especially brutal in that it was "A no quarter war", neither side took many prisoners, if either side could help it (of the 186,000 german prisoners taken at the fall of the Stalingrad pocket, only 6,000 lived to return home from Russia after the war). So a Russian Jew who had lost an arm along with her entire family, saw her home completely destroyed can show mercy and compassion as well as forgiveness under these circomstances, under the threat of death at the hands of a political officer................ ~~~~~~~~~are these not the values n spiritual convictions that lift the human spirit closer to God, would not Mohammad, Jesus, Buddha, or any saint that lived, call her a Friend? We were blogging about the great Adolph Hitler (great visionary and holy man from Germany), when the concept of insanity came to mind, not that I would accuse Adolph Hitler of being a lil insane or the people that followed him off the cliff insane either. But We were making a pun about religious intolerance when it came to mind that the very concept of religious intolerance across history in all civilizations. One of the deffinitions of "INSANITY" is "To do a the thing/action over and over and over again, expecting different results each time." We thought to self, now there is a concept (religious intolerance) that has been around a long time, so we thought, "Self, what would this world look like iffin religious/government leaders let go of this mental form of being with others???? Iffin religious/governmental leaders that chose to realize this way of leading, then would we not have them committed to funny house fer shock treatments or lobotomies? ~~~~Religious intolerance thru time has shown to be a futile exercise of self will run riot, the forcing of ones will upon the will of another? ~~ Even God creator of all the universes, will not step upon the free will he has gifted each n every human being born upon this planet with. So what does that make a person who forces their will or manipulates the will of others to conform to their vision of religious ideas, or culteral values? ! Surely they are greater than God, I mean iffin God respects my free will, then a person that practices or believes in religious intolerance would be greater than God...would they not, I mean iffin the creator of the universe wont step upon my free will, am I not greater and stronger than God fer forcing my will upon another???????? Perhaps because it has not worked from the beginning....why should it work now????? We wish all who are of the mind that "Religious Intolerance" is an alright way of being, the Highest Good in all yer endeavors.

After reading a post by Aumoshaoum about "A possible ban on yoga practices among the Malysian people", we were reminded of this passage in a book from "Bhagavati Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi" (Amma), a recognized avatar of the beloved Mother Saraswati who resides at the Ashram in Penusila, Ahndra Pradesh.
The title of book is: "SRI VIDYA" Divine Radience Within~~~2005 ~~~~ "In the past, when people came to India from Afghanistan and other places, they crossed the Sindhu River. They could not pronounce the sound, "Si", in Sindhu, so they said "Hi' instead. That is how the word "Hindu" originated from the name of the Sindhu River, and how the people living in India came to be called "Hindus". This word, "Hindu," does not exist in the in the vedas. The vedas are eternal light. This light is for everyone. The great rishis, who gave us the sacred vedas, do not say anything at all about religion. Their vision is very wide. Their blessings are for the entire world. A rishi is not like a physical person. He himself is the Light. Whenever he travels in society, he causes a revolution. Yesterday we talked about Divine energy, which resides in the heart lotus of all beings, as Pranada Prana rupini. The great sages knew that this light is the same in everyone. One day a lil indian boy came running up to his grandfather yelling "Granpa!" "Granpa!" "Daddies hurting my Mom". The grandfather who sitting beneath a tree on the edge of a village of Tee-Pee's, stands and in a loud voice, "What do you mean heis hurting your mother?" So the lil boy describes what his father was doing to his mother to make her cry out so. The grandfather starts laughing real hard. he says "no grandson, yer father is not hurting your mother, they are having sex....it is a very pleasurable thing." The lil boy thinks on this fer a minute, then asks his Grandpa iffin he can have sex, beins that it is so good. The Granpa, tells the boy to drop his pants, and takes a look, n says, "Nope, you are not quite ready yet." Well the boy continues to pester the grandpa about having sex. Finally the grandpa tells the bot, "Go into the forest and find a tree with a knot hole in it and you can practice till you are ready." So the boy does so, and after a season has passed, he comes up to his granpa and asks iffin he's ready. The granpa tells him to drop his pants and says" Yep, you are ready to have sex." Wait here grandson, and I will go and find a maiden who will take care of you." So the granpa goes among the tee-pee's after awhile he comes back and tells the boy, "you see the tee-pee with Eagles and Buffalo on it?" "Yep" replies the boy. "Well, she is awaiting you there to have sex with you." So the boy runs over to the tee-pee, he enters in and finds a beautiful young maiden, who asks i'm iffin he is ready to have sex. He says yes and she drops her gown and gets down upon her hands and knees. the boy pull's out a stick he had been holding behind him, and swacks her a good one upon the butt! The young maiden jumps up and with an angry exclamation, yells at him "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" The boy says "I just wanted to have sex!" The angry maiden rubbing her cheeks, replies angrily "THAT is not how you have sex!" The boy replies "Well I had to make sure there were no bumble bee's in there before starting"
