I spent most of March of this in india and loved it.
I enjoy life and exploring diversity of ideas, people and cultures. I am not a typical person in any category; I highly value eclectic in work, love and life. In the words of Kabir, "the only woman awake is the woman who hears the flute." I try to be awake and hear the flute. I am professional working woman and enjoy the company of men who think that is awesome. To be transparent (current buzzword) I find internet dating sites to be very unintentionally hilarious....so I will warn you...I will be irreverent. I have wicked sense of humor and nothing is sacred, esp internet dating sites I am checking out this site to see if it has anything to offer me.....since I value intellectual connection before other (romantic) connections. I am of Irish/American ancestry as should be obvious (hint, the hair). slainte (irish word for cheers)
My Ideal Person:
Love to talk global politics, literature, movies, life. Just read White Tiger by Aravind Adiga, Interpreter of Maladies by Lahiri and am now struggling thru Midnight's Children by Rushdie. Appreciate interesting conversations, adventure, and humor. Love to be outdoors hiking, mountain biking....and indoors going to interesting movies, eating really good food, and concerts. I enjoy the global views and intelligence of Indian ppl. Would enjoy making some friends.
Ok...I have been checking out this site for a few weeks now...and the winks/hotlists/etc are highly amusing...don't you think so? I've actually had some interesting discussons with some of you so far though....thanks.
